OUR POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
 
At Skintellect Laser & Aesthetics, we pride ourselves on offering the best care for our patients.  We are constantly evaluating and updating our policies and procedures to ensure you always have a truly enjoyable visit with us.
Please make sure you read the entire form.  We are always here for you if you have any questions.
 
SCHEDULING:
Our friendly and knowledgable staff will help you schedule your next appointment.  For new patients, there’s a $50 reservation fee due at the time appointment is scheduled. Reservation fee is applied to your treatment and it is refundable (following our cancellation (rescheduling policies).
For established patients, no reservation fee is charged for prepaid packages.  You may need to apply a reservation or deposit fee for individual sessions.
We recommend that you schedule your next service prior to leaving our office.
 
PAYMENT INFO:
For your convenience, we accept payments by cash and debit/credit cards including Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover.  No checks please.
For patients interested in financing:
  • We accept CareCredit for any service, with the benefit of 6 months financing with no interest. 
  • or for packages only, you have the option of our In-house payment plan which allows you to split payments in half.  With this option, patients are responsible for the first half prior to or during their first session, and the second half prior to or at their second session.
Individual sessions but be paid in advance or at your scheduled appointment (may be subject to a reservation fee).
 
SPECIAL NEEDS:
Your comfort and well-being are very important to us. Prior to receiving your service, Please inform us of any special needs or medical condition including pregnancy, injuries, allergies, disabilities or illnesses.  This will help us customize your service to ensure your maximum enjoyment and benefit.
 
PUNCTUALITY:
We respectfully request you arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled time. When booking services with us, your appointment is scheduled time allocated exclusively for you. We know that things can happen and, at Skintellect, we try to be as accommodating as possible.  In an effort to provide our services in a timely manner for all of our patients, if you are running late for a scheduled appointment, our company policy offers you two options:
  • You may opt to shorten your treatment. Your session will still be counted as performed entirely.  You have the option of booking additional time to complete your session (applicable only to specific treatments and/or areas). This may require an additional booking fee.
  • You may prefer to reschedule your appointment at a more convenient time, however, a cancellation fee will be charged.
 
CANCELLATION POLICY:
We understand that occasionally you may have to reschedule an appointment with us.  We kindly ask that you give us fair warning.  It is company policy for all patients to give us a 48 hours notice.  This will allow us to accommodate other patients. Failure to do so will result in a $40 cancellation fee or counted as treatment provided from your package (if applicable). Please keep in mind, same day notices or cancellations will still be counted as a no-show and the same cancellation policy will apply.
 
REFUNDS:
If a service or package of services is purchased, and the services were not rendered, you may cancel and request a refund in writing.  Refunds may be requested for up to 60 days after purchase.  After the initial 60 days, we are not able to process a refund.  However, you may use your credit towards any of our services or products. 
If services are rendered for a package, and a refund is requested prior to completion of your package (within the 60 days period), the cost of a full priced treatment (not package discount price) will be deducted from the total amount paid for services rendered, then the difference will be refunded.
Once all services/packages have been rendered, no refund may be applied.  Skin Care products and Spa Services are not refundable.
 
CHILDREN:
In order to keep your child safe, no children are allowed in any of our laser rooms or treatment rooms.
We are unable to watch children on our premises.  Please make sure proper arrangements are made for the supervision of your children during your session.
 
CONSIDERATION FOR PATIENTS WHO ARE MINORS:
We give special consideration to patients who are under the age of 18.  Patients between 15 and 18 years old must have written permission/consent from their parents or guardians prior to their first service.  Patients under 15 years old must have a parent present with you at all times.
 
PRIVACY POLICY:
Skintellect Laser & Aesthetics is a HIPPA compliant facility.  We respect your privacy and we are committed to protecting and securely manage all of the personal info you choose to share with us.  During your visit, personal information is collected in order to facilitate communication, the safely delivery of services and/or the completion of an order.  We will not sell, share, or rent your info to third parties in any ways different from what’s disclosed in this statement.
