YODY JAQUEZ

CO - FOUNDER & ADVANCED LASER & MEDICAL AESTHETICS SPECIALIST

Yody is the founder and lead laser specialist at Skintellect Laser & Aesthetics, with over 16 years of experience in medical aesthetics. Originally from the Dominican Republic, she earned her Doctor in Medicine degree from PUCMM University before focusing exclusively on aesthetics. With over 15 certifications in areas like advanced cosmetic lasers, pigment removal, scar treatments, and intimate skin lightening, Yody is recognized as a top provider in the Tampa Bay area, offering personalized treatments that address a wide range of skin concerns.

Yody believes in a holistic approach to skincare, tailoring her treatments to meet each client’s individual needs. Whether it’s PRP therapy, microneedling, or laser treatments, she ensures natural, rejuvenating results. Known for her warmth and professionalism, Yody is committed to educating her clients on preventative care and long-term skin health. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she creates a welcoming environment where clients feel empowered and cared for, making Skintellect a trusted destination for glowing, healthy skin.

HERNAN ALVAREZ

CO-FOUNDER & MANAGING DIRECTOR

Hernan has been the Managing Director of Skintellect Laser & Aesthetics since he and his wife, Yody, first opened the practice in 2016. Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Hernan brings over 20 years of management experience and a strong background in Business. After moving to the U.S., he expanded his expertise by earning multiple licenses in Management Information Systems (MIS), focusing on hardware and software systems development. These systems have been seamlessly implemented into Skintellect’s daily operations, ensuring that clients experience efficient, high-quality care every time they visit.

Behind the scenes, Hernan is the backbone of Skintellect, managing everything from business strategy to operational efficiency. A true 80’s music fan, there’s a 90% chance Hernan is listening to an 80’s hit while working—or perhaps a Beatles classic.

KRISTIE MADDOX

MASTER INJECTOR & AESTHETIC LASER SPECIALIST

Kristie is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner and Master Injector with 13 years of experience in the medical field. After earning her Master’s in Nursing from The University of Tampa in 2015, she immediately transitioned into aesthetics, combining her lifelong love of art with her medical expertise. Kristie has developed a keen eye for helping her patients achieve their aesthetic goals and specializes in treating injectables with precision and artistry.

Kristie is dedicated to providing her clients with personalized, natural-looking results. Whether it’s through advanced lasers, injectables, or a combination of both, she tailors her approach to each patient’s unique needs. Always eager to expand her skills, Kristie stays at the forefront of aesthetic advancements to ensure her patients receive the best care and the most effective anti-aging solutions. Stephanie is a Licensed Medical Aesthetician and board-certified Clinical and Medical Electrologist with over a decade of experience in laser treatments. Since 2014, she has been treating the Tampa Bay area with advanced laser technologies, including Fotona for cosmetic lasers and laser tattoo removal. Known for her precision and dedication to staying current with the latest laser techniques, Stephanie is passionate about educating her patients and ensuring they feel comfortable and confident throughout their laser journey.

Stephanie’s expertise extends to treating all skin tones and addressing conditions such as PCOS, and she takes pride in achieving outstanding, long-lasting results. She is now a licensed aesthetician and certified aesthetic laser specialist, combining her extensive knowledge with cutting-edge laser technology to provide exceptional care. Kristina is known for her precision and results-driven approach, particularly in laser hair removal, where she tailors each treatment to deliver optimal, long-lasting results for all skin types.

Meet Shannon, a licensed bilingual Esthetician with 6 years of experience and a passion for helping patients look and feel their best. Specializing in Dermaplaning and Body Contouring, Shannon is certified in RF Skin Tightening, Cellulite Reduction, and Fat Reduction, offering a wide range of services to enhance both skin and body. She’s not only a skilled practitioner but also our Floor Coordinator, making her one of the first faces you’ll encounter when you visit Skintellect.

Shannon’s bubbly and caring personality ensures that every patient feels welcomed and at ease from the moment they walk in. She takes the time to thoroughly prepare patients for each treatment and is always ready to answer any questions. Her dedication to providing excellent care and creating a comfortable, relaxed experience makes her an invaluable part of the Skintellect team. SAHILY QUINTANA, LE

Sahily is the warm, friendly voice you’ll hear when you contact Skintellect. Born in Cuba, raised in Miami, and recently relocated to Tampa, she is dedicated to making every patient feel welcome. With her sweet attitude and willingness to assist, Sahily ensures that your appointments run smoothly and that all your questions are answered promptly. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she’s always ready to assist patients in whichever language they feel most comfortable.

Passionate about aesthetics, Sahily is a licensed aesthetician with a particular love for lash extensions and lash lifts. Her enthusiasm for learning and her commitment to providing exceptional service make her an essential part of the Skintellect team, always ready to help you with anything you need.

LAUREN LOCKHART, BBA

MARKETING SPECIALIST

Lauren is the creative force behind the camera at Skintellect. Originally from Upstate NY, she recently relocated to Tampa and brings with her a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing from Saint Bonaventure University. With a passion for all things creative, Lauren loves designing and creating content, especially in photography and videography. She’s also deeply passionate about beauty, making her an invaluable part of the team.

Lauren plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Tealed Exclusive membership, while also creating the engaging videos you see on our TVs, brochures, emails, and social media. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with her friends and family. Her creativity and dedication make her an essential part of the Skintellect team, bringing our brand to life through all of the content she creates.
